Things You'll Need
- Cat toys Spray bottle
Instructions
When your cat tries to bite, try giving him a cat toy to get his attention away from you and distract him into doing something else.
If your cat does bite you, do not just jerk your hand away. He will think you want to play. Slowly pull your hand away and distract him. If he continues, gently blow in his face and that should get him away from you for a bit.
If your cat insists on biting all the time, maybe you should try not to play with him with your hands for a while. There are so many cat toys on the market that you can keep him entertained that way.
Another great tip is when you cat bites you, gently push down on her tongue. After a few times, your cat will get the message.
When you cat bites you, look her in the eyes and sternly say "no." Some cats get the message using this method.
Use a spray bottle with water and gently spray your cat. Don't spray too hard though.
Get another kitten as a playmate for your current cat.
