1. African Elephant (Loxodonta): African elephants are the largest land animals on earth. There are two species of African elephants: the African Bush Elephant (Loxodonta africana) and the African Forest Elephant (Loxodonta cyclotis). African elephants have large ears and a distinctive trunk.
2. Asian Elephant (Elephas maximus): Asian elephants are smaller than African elephants. They have smaller ears and a single "hump" on their forehead. Asian elephants are found in Southeast Asia, including India, Thailand, Sumatra, and Borneo.
