Flamingos are pink because of their diet. They eat a lot of shrimp and algae that contain a pigment called carotenoids. These carotenoids are broken down in the flamingo's body and turn their feathers pink.
Cats, on the other hand, don't eat enough carotenoids to turn their fur pink! They get their colors from a different type of pigment called melanin.
So, while pink flamingos are a beautiful sight, pink cats are purely a product of our imaginations! 😉
