Color Point
-
The facial mask, tail and ears of the Ragdoll cat are called points. In Ragdolls with a color point pattern, the points of the cat are clearly defined from the rest of the body color. Legs and feet should also be clearly defined and match the color of the points. The point color should be darker than the body color, but the chin, chest and bib of the cat may be slightly lighter than the rest of the body. Some color point varieties include the chocolate color point, blue color point, cream color point and seal color point.
Mitted
-
Mitted Ragdoll cats have points that are also defined from the rest of the body color, with the exception of their feet. The front feet of the mitted Ragdoll should be white and evenly matched. The rear legs must be entirely white, but the color should not extend higher than the mid-thigh and must wrap around the cat's hock completely. Some mitted color varieties include chocolate tortie lynx mitted, cream lynx point mitted, red point mitted and blue point mitted.
White
-
White Ragdolls have points that are defined from the rest of the body. The facial mask has an inverted white “V” shape. The feet, legs and stomach are all white and the body color is a lighter shade than the points. Some white patterned Ragdolls will have other white markings and color patches on their body. The foot pads and nose of the white Ragdoll will be pink. Some white color varieties include red point and white, lilac point and white, cream point and white and seal tortie point and white.
