How many ivf babies?
The total number of IVF babies born worldwide as of 2021 is estimated to be over 10 million. IVF, or In Vitro Fertilization, is a reproductive technique where fertilization occurs outside the body, in a laboratory dish. The first successful IVF baby, Louise Brown, was born in the United Kingdom in 1978. Since then, IVF has become increasingly common as a way to treat infertility and has been responsible for the birth of millions of babies around the world.
