Eggs first develop in a woman?
Eggs do not develop in a woman; they are produced in her ovaries. Ovaries are the female reproductive organs located in the pelvic region. Each ovary contains follicles, which are sacs that contain immature eggs. During ovulation, a mature egg is released from the ovary and travels down the fallopian tube towards the uterus. If the egg is fertilized by a sperm during its journey, it will implant in the uterus and develop into a fetus.
