Dogs That Are Naturally Calm

Many pet owners love having a companion that they can run and play with, but others may prefer a more laid-back dog. Calm dogs are ideal for pet owners with busy schedules, older people and families with small children who could be hurt by hyperactive animals. Whether or not you want a small or large breed of dog, you can find one calm enough to meet your needs.

    Pugs

    Biewer Yorkie

    • Biewers weigh around 7 or 8 lb. and have long hair. While they like their owners to pay a lot of attention to them, they stay calm and relaxed most of the time. The only time they are not calm is if they sense someone is a threat to their family.
