Husky Puppy Classification

Siberian Husky puppies come in a number of varieties and classifications. Choosing between them requires careful research and consideration. Giving the choice of your Husky puppy careful thought ensures that the puppy will more seamlessly fit into your lifestyle.
  1. Sex

    • Husky puppies may be male or female. Females tend to be a tad more intense and high-strung whereas males tend towards being laid-back. Females are a bit smaller, as well.

    Lineage

    • Husky puppies may come from working, show or pet lines. A Siberian Husky puppy from working lines will be incompatible with a pet home as they have extreme exercise needs. Show and pet Huskies tend to be much calmer and easier to train.

    Color

    • Siberian Huskies are known for their range of coat colors and striking markings. Huskies come in any color from pure white to pure black. They may also be red, brown, or any mixture of colors.

    Eyes

    • A husky's eyes may be green, blue, brown, amber, or any mix thereof. Eye color isn't linked to anything but appearance.

    Proven

    • Proven puppies come from parents who have titles in either the show, performance or sled dog arena. Such puppies make obvious choices for a working or obedience-driven home.
