How to Rescue a Shih Tzu in Houston
Shih tzus are known for their long shaggy coats and huge personalities. Their small, compact frames and minimal shedding make them great house pets. But many irresponsible shih tzu owners have unrealistic expectations and abandon their dogs. Shih tzus can be needy, suffer from attention anxiety and are difficult to housebreak. If you live in the Houston area, understand the breed and have a loving home to offer, locate local rescue organizations to save an orphaned dog in need.
