How big can a pukeko grow?

The pukeko is a dark blue-purple bird with a white undertail. It has a long, red beak and legs. The pukeko is typically 50–65 cm (20–26 in) in length and weighs 1–1.5 kg (2.2–3.3 lb). The wingspan of the pukeko is typically 80–100 cm (31–39 in).
