Step 2: Comb the coat.

2. Start at the ends of the hair and work your way up to the roots.
3. Be patient and gentle, and don't yank on the hair.
Step 3: Trim the nails.
1. Use a pair of nail clippers to trim your dog's nails.
2. Be careful not to cut the nails too short.
3. If you cut the nails too short you could cause your dog pain and bleeding.
Step 4: Clean the ears.
1. Use a cotton ball dampened with ear cleaner to clean your dog's ears.
Step 5: Brush the teeth.

2. Make sure to brush the front, back and top of the teeth.

- Pomeranians should be brushed at least twice a week.
- More often if their coat is long or they spend a lot of time outdoors.
- Bathe your Pomeranian every 8-12 weeks.
- More often if they get dirty or have skin problems.
- Trim your Pomeranian's nails regularly.
- About once a month.
- Check your Pomeranian's ears weekly and clean them if they're dirty.
