How to Groom a Cockapoo's Face

Cockapoos are dogs that are a mix between a cocker spaniel and a poodle. They are identified by their medium build and their thick coats of fur. Cockapoos are outgoing dogs that don't shed a lot. That being said, it is a good idea to keep them well-groomed and not let their thick hair grow to an out-of-control length. Keeping their hair trimmed also keeps it out of their eyes.

Instructions

    • 1

Place cotton balls in your cockapoo's ears just far enough so that it will block out water.

    • 2

Bathe your cockapoo using dog shampoo, such as an anti-lice or anti-tick shampoo.

    • 3

Dry your dog and remove the cotton balls from its ears.

    • 4

Dab cotton balls with dog ear cleaner and swab the inside of the cockapoo's ears to prevent infection.

    • 5

Cut the brow hair out of your cockapoo's eyes with a pair of scissors.

    • 6

Cut the whisker hair of your cockapoo down so that it blends in with the shorter hair on the side of its face.

    • 7

Brush the hair on your cockapoo's face gently with a dog brush.
