Instructions
Brush your corgi̵7;s coat twice a week with a bristle brush or pin brush. Regular brushing will stimulate hair growth and reduce the amount of shedding hair. Move the brush in the direction of the hair growth to easily untangle knotted hair.
Bathe your corgi only if it looks dirty and gives off a bad body odor, or if it's shedding its undercoat. Use warm water and a mild dog shampoo while bathing your corgi to maintain the pH level of its hair and skin. Rinse well with plain water and towel-dry.
Examine your corgi's eyes daily for dirt and signs of infection. Use a wet cloth or paper towel to wipe the eyes clean and prevent a buildup of bacteria.
Check your dog̵7;s ears on a weekly basis to remove accumulated wax and dirt. Use a dog ear-cleaning solution to loosen wax from the insides of the ears. Consult your vet if the color of the insides isn't pink.
Brush the teeth once a week with good-quality dog toothpaste. Apply a little toothpaste on a medium-sized toothbrush, finger cap or washcloth and gently rub your dog̵7;s teeth with it.
Clip your dog̵7;s toenails once a week with a nail trimmer. Avoid cutting too much into the nail to prevent damage to the quick. Take your dog to the vet for a nail trim if you're unable to trim them yourself.
