How to Groom a Doxiepoo

A doxiepoo is a type of dog that is half dachshund and half poodle. Doxiepoos weigh between 5 lbs. and 15 lbs., and their color can be chocolate brown, black or crème. These dogs are typically good with children, as they are friendly dogs. Additionally, they shed little fur and are small, making them good for small places such as apartments. Doxiepoos are known to make good watchdogs and are easily trained. Regularly groom your doxiepoo to prevent unnecessary illnesses and infections.

Comb your dog's fur. Doxiepoo fur can be long-haired, smooth or wirehaired. Comb its fur daily to avoid matting. If your dog has any matted sections that you cannot comb out, carefully cut out those sections with scissors.
