Trimming a Poodle's Facial Hair

The poodle is known for its widely outrageous and interesting hair styles that include huge puff balls, color and landscaping shapes worthy of a French garden. One thing all poodles, whether standard, miniature or toy, have in common is a shaved face. The long and curly coat of the poodle also grows on its face and muzzle just as fast as the hair on its body. Trimming of the facial hair must be done quite frequently as to not interfere with eating and drinking and to keep the poodle's face clean. A pair of hair clippers is enough to keep your poodle's shaven face neat and clean.
