Things You'll Need
- Cotton balls
- Dog shampoo
- Cloth
- Baby wipes
- Vaseline
Instructions
Place a cotton ball in each of your bulldog's ears. This will ensure soap and water don't seep in and you can really get into those tight wrinkles around the head.
Wash the dog's nose wrinkles with water, but no soap, by rubbing the nose back and forth with a soft, damp cloth. Rinse the nose thoroughly with a soft towel or cloth.
Moisten the nose again, as well as the rest of the dog's folds with water. Apply dog shampoo to all areas except the nose and then wipe with a cloth. Rinse and then wipe under the folds with baby wipes that contain aloe and lanolin.
Rinse and dry the entire area thoroughly. Apply a soothing ointment to the wrinkles, particularly on the nose. This will dry the wrinkles.
Rewash the wrinkles in stained areas. You may need to focus on these spots, which are often on the nose, for several days before the stains are gone. Remove the cotton balls.
