Instructions
Brush your Maltipoo's coat right before a bath to help loosen any dirt and debris and work out any tangles.
Fill a bathtub or sink with enough warm water to reach halfway up your Maltipoo's legs when it stands. Turn off the water and gently place your dog in the bath.
Wet your Maltipoo's fur with warm water from a sprayer or pitcher. Pour a quarter-sized amount of hypoallergenic dog shampoo into your hand and begin lathering its fur, massaging the shampoo into its skin in a circular motion with your fingertips. Keep the the suds away from its face and out of its ear canals. If necessary, cover its eyes with a washcloth while you wash its ears and head.
Rinse the shampoo out of the Maltipoo's fur with the sprayer or pitcher, making sure to rinse only with clean water and not with the bath water. Follow with a hypoallergenic conditioning treatment, rinsing the conditioner out thoroughly as well.
Lift your Maltipoo out of the water using a large, soft towel. Gently pat its fur dry, allow it to shake and spritz its damp fur with a hypoallergenic leave-in conditioner.
Comb the conditioner through your Maltipoo's fur with a wide-tooth comb, gently working out any tangles. If the weather is warm, allow its fur to air dry. If the weather is cold, blow dry it on the lowest heat setting.
Brush your Maltipoo daily. For best results, take it to a professional groomer every six to eight weeks.
