Instructions
Identify the eyebrows of the dog when you perform the hand stripping or clipping. Find the brow bones just above the eyes, where the dog's brows start. When hand stripping or clipping, avoid this area; clip between the eyes and the ears and above the eyebrows, to the back of the skull and between the ears.
Use the thinning shears to remove the hair from the inside corner of an eye to the inside edge of the other eyebrow. Do the same starting from the inner corner of the other eye and the opposite eyebrow.
Comb the eyebrows down towards the pet's muzzle.
Use the thinning shears or a clipper with a short blade to trim the eyebrows at a sharp angle towards the dog's muzzle. The hair between the eyes should be longer than the hair at the exterior corner of the mini schnauzer's eyes. The length of the longest part of the eyebrows is approximately half of the dog's muzzle. Check if the eyebrows are symmetrical and make any adjustments, if needed.
Check if the eyebrows are longer than the top skull. If so, clip some more until the eyebrows are at the level of the top skull. The eyebrows should appear as an extension of the top skull.
Check the outer edge of the eyes and look for loose hairs. Remove these with a pair of scissors.
