How to Turn Your Poodle Pink With Kool-aid

It may seem cruel to the animal top dye its fur, but customizing your dogs appearance can be done safely with no harm to the animal. Poodles especially are given unique hair styles and there are a range of dog fur dyes available as well. Using Kool-Aid is a cheaper alternative to proper fur dye that will wash out a lot quicker and allow your dog to match your outfit for a special occasion or costume party.

Instructions

    • 1

Mix packets of unsweetened strawberry Kool-Aid with warm water. The amount of Kool-Aid required and the concentration of the mixture depends on how pink you want the poodle to be, and the size of the dog.

    • 2

Fill the atomizer with the liquid. It is possible to wash the poodle with the mixture, but this makes it more controllable.

    • 3

Wash the dog with normal water to remove dirt and grease from its fur, which will stop the dye from taking hold.

    • 4

Place some towels on the floor so the dye does not get on the floor.

    • 5

Spray the mixture onto the poodle in small areas and work it into the fur using a dog comb.

    • 6

Continue until the entire dog is the desired color. Be careful when applying the mixture to the face and ears.
