Instructions
Remove excess fur before bathing by brushing the puppy with a rubber brush.
Wash the Schnug puppy in up to 3 inches of warm water at least once a week. Lather dog shampoo and massage the body of the puppy gently. Use a washcloth to clean the dog.Pay particular attention around the mouth to get between any folds of skin. Then, rinse off the excess soap suds.
Apply dog fur conditioner, and then rinse it off. Take the puppy out of the bath, and pat it dry with a dry towel.
Clean the face of the Schnug puppy every day with baby wipes. Remove dribble or food bits, which are prone to get stuck in fur around the face. Once you have used the baby wipe, dry off any moisture with a towel.
Brush the Schnug puppy every day with a bristle brush to remove loose hair. This keeps the dog and your house clean, as you pick up the excess hair. Be gentle with the puppy as it is fragile at a young age. Also, comb the puppy with a flea comb.
Clean the Schnug's eyes. These can get a build up of gunk quickly, so do this whenever you see that the puppy has sticky eyes. Use a washcloth and sterilized water to dab around the eye. Do not press directly on the eyeball. Gently wipe around the eye until all the dirt is removed.
Moisten a cotton ball with sterilized water and clean the puppy's ears once a week. Do not penetrate the ear with the cotton. Lift up the ear flap and swipe around the top section to rid it of dirt and bacteria. If the ear is red and inflammed inside, the Schnug might have an infection and should be taken to a vet.
