Blend a mixture of cornstarch and peroxide until it has a paste-like consistency. Use a soft toothbrush to apply the mixture to the poodle's face where the tearstains are located. Allow it remain overnight. Use warm water to remove it the next morning.

Purchase eyewash designed to remove tearstains from dogs. These products are available from your local pet store. They are safe to use as long as you avoid direct contact with the eyes.

Mix cornstarch and boric acid powder together in equal parts. Pat the mixture onto the poodle's fur where it is stained. Avoid getting any into the poodle's eyes or mouth. Allow the mixture to remain for a couple of hours, and then remove with a warm, wet washcloth.

Add 1 tbsp. boric acid powder to 1 cup of boiling water and stir until the powder dissolves. Place the mixture into a glass jar and soak several cotton swabs into the mixture. Close the container tightly. Rub the stained areas on the poodle's face daily with one of the cotton swabs.
