Instructions
Move the electric clippers gently along with the grain of your dog's fur. This means to move in the same direction that the fur is growing, not the opposite way. This keeps the coat smoother and more evenly cut. There is no need to press hard while clipping.
Clip from behind your dog's neck all the way down the length of the torso.
Continue clipping the rest of your dog's fur that you want to trim.
Give your dog a bath or at least wet down the fur. Once your dog dries, you will be able to more clearly see areas that need additional trimming.
Go over your dog's coat once more with the electric clippers, still moving with the grain of the fur, not against it.
Touch the blade of the clippers periodically. You need to replace the blade when it gets hot. Otherwise, you could inadvertently burn your dog while grooming.
How to Groom Your Dog With a Buzzer Machine
Using a buzzer machine to groom your dog is just another way of saying that you're going to use electric clippers. When you don't need a specific cut or when you are looking to remove the majority of the fur from your pup, grooming with electric clippers can make a lot of sense. However, to keep your dog safe and to help the grooming go smoothly, there are a few simple guidelines that you should follow during the grooming process.
