How to: Cleaning Solution to Kill Fleas

Fleas cause a disproportionate amount of problems for their tiny size. These pests can bite and deteriorate the health of your pets, bite your family members and hide in your clothing, furniture and carpeting. Fortunately, nearly all soaps kill fleas by removing their protective coating or by clogging a flea's breathing tubes. The type of soap depends on what needs cleaning. Baby shampoo works well for pets due to the no-cry ingredients. Dish soap works well as a furniture and carpet cleaner.
