Instructions
Decide what areas you want to let cord and what areas you want to shave. For example, shave the ears and the hindquarters for comfort and hygiene.
Use clippers to shave the areas.
Let the rest of the coat begin to grow out and form mats on its own.
Separate any large mats into smaller mats by pulling with your fingers in a gentle, outward (never downward) manner away from the skin.
Spray coat lightly with leave-in conditioner once a week. Dry thoroughly every time.
Bathe your poodle every week with a low-suds shampoo. Rinse thoroughly.
Dry completely with towels or use a stand-up dryer.
