- Popsicle stick
- Bead
- Hot glue
Instructions
Make an angled cut in a piece of ribbon.
Measure 7 inches of ribbon, then make another angled cut, perpendicular to the first cut.
Cross the two ends of the ribbon over each other, creating a loop and two loose ends, so the loose ends are of even length.
Crimp the middle of the loop down. Hold the top of the loop and the point where the ends cross between your thumb and index finger.
Place a rubber band over the point the loop and cross converge. Hook the rubber band with the crochet hook.
Bend the crochet hook behind the ribbon and grab the other end of the rubber band.
Pull the crochet hook back and pull the hook through the first section of rubber band you hooked, causing one end of the rubber band to be pulled through itself to form a loop.
Place a popsicle stick through the loop to keep the rubber bands from coming undone during gluing, and remove the hook.
Glue a bead over the point the loop, ends and rubber band converge to hold the ribbon in place and secure the band to the ribbon.
