Things You'll Need
- Fabric
- Dog collar
- Pins
- Scissors
- Needle
- Thread
Instructions
Lay a piece of fabric flat in front of you, face up. Lay your dog's collar horizontally along one edge.
Grab the edge of the fabric against the collar and fold the fabric and collar over, as if your goal was to roll the collar in fabric. Pull the edge of fabric down against the other side of fabric so that you've now completely covered the collar and have created a quarter-inch hem to use for stitching.
Slide in a pin between the two pieces of fabric at the right, middle and left so the collar stays completely covered. Trim away all the excess fabric.
Sew small, tight stitches across the edge of fabric and the bottom layer of fabric. Knot your thread when you're done and cut away the extra thread. Turn the tube of fabric right side out so the stitches are hidden and slide it onto your collar.
