Brush the fur in the direction that it grows to reduce mats and tangles.

    • 3

Continue to brush your dog's coat gently to remove any snarls and excess fur.

Put on a pair of rubber cleaning gloves. Pet your dog's fur, in the same direction that the hair grows, for about 10 minutes. You'll notice all the excess fur that didn't collect in the brush is now on the gloves. Continue to pet your dog's fur until all the excess hair has been removed.
