Instructions
Wash and condition your schnoodle̵7;s fur with dog shampoo and conditioner. Dry the fur with a soft towel and a blow dryer set on low.
Examine the schnoodle̵7;s fur for mats. Carefully cut away these clumps with grooming scissors.
Comb out the dog̵7;s fur with a pin brush.
Shave the dog̵7;s neck, back, and sides, stopping at the head, the tail, and the tops of the legs. Use a No. 4F comb attachment on your clippers. Working in the same direction as the fur, start at the neck then move down to the sides.
Shave the dog̵7;s ears with the No. 4F attachment. Hold the ears in your hand and shave down the length of the outside of the ears (in the direction of the fur). Hold the ears up and shave the inside of the ears. Use grooming scissors to trim around the edges of the ears. Use grooming scissors to snip long hairs from the ear canals.
Use grooming scissors to carefully trim around the eyes. Trim the beard and the hair on top of the head.
Shave the dog̵7;s chest, stomach, tail and rear end with a No. 10 comb attachment on your clippers. This will create a closer cut than the No. 4F and will prevent matting in these frequently problematic areas.
Use grooming scissors to trim the dog̵7;s legs.
Shave the around the dog̵7;s feet with a No. 10 attachment. Spread apart the toes and carefully clip the fur between.
Comb out the dog̵7;s hair with a soft-bristle grooming brush.
