Instructions
Pay attention to the difference between your husky's regular shedding and the two times a year when the dog sheds its entire coat. Huskies usually shed their coat during the major season changes from cold to hot and then from hot to cold. This will differ depending on the region in which you live.
Increase the frequency at which you groom your husky during this period to once a day, as opposed to the twice-a-week frequency a husky usually needs.
Remove the bigger clumps of hair with a shed blade. Start from the head of the husky and work back gently. Keep a trash can beside the dog for removed hair.
Apply a mist of water and conditioner to any part of the hair that is tangled. Move slowly through the tangled area with a metal comb.
