Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a Frontline product from your veterinarian that is appropriate for your pet's weight and size. The products are specially formulated for different weights.

    • 2

Open the applicator bottle and squeeze the liquid onto your cat or dog's skin right in between the shoulder blades below the neck. If you apply it anywhere else, he will lick it off. Make sure the liquid goes on the skin and not the fur, where it will just sit there.

    • 3

Keep your pet dry for about one day so that the Frontline solution has a chance to absorb into the skin and start distributing throughout your pet's sweat glands. Fleas and ticks will be dead by the next morning.

    • 4

Vacuum your entire house after applying the Frontline solution to your pet. Throw the vacuum bag away and put in a new one so you don't re-contaminate your house.

Spray the carpet and furniture with Adams Spray, which will kill any fleas. Spray about 2 feet back from the object and do not inhale the spray. You can also treat your pet's bedding with the spray.
