Instructions

Groom your pet's fur. Make sure that it is free of tangles.

    • 2

Mix a few drops of your food coloring choice with water. If you are dyeing a small animal, you can fill a bathtub, since you can color the animal right in the tub. For a larger animal, fill a large bowl with water. It is best to color a large animal outdoors to avoid coloring floors, furniture, etc.

Wet your pet's fur, then color your pet with the coloring mix. For a small animal, place it in the bathtub and pour the colored water over it. For a large pet, take it outside. Dip a sponge in the bowl of coloring and scrub it through the fur. Sponge your pet continuously until the desired darkness in color is achieved. Avoid your pet's eyes and mouth.
