Things You'll Need
- Johnson's Head-to-Toe Baby Wash
- Water
- Towel
- Dog brush (and/or flea brush)
- Johnson's Baby Powder
Instructions
Take your puppy outdoors (if it is warm enough) or into the tub and run a lukewarm bath.
Lather your puppy from head to rump with about 6 to 8 pumps (about 6 to 8 tbsp.) of Johnson's Head-to-Toe Baby Wash, being sure to get his entire coat and underbelly.
Rinse the soap off of your puppy thoroughly, being sure to wash her entire coat.
Dry your puppy off with a towel and then brush his coat well with a dog brush or, if he has fleas, with a flea brush. A flea brush has much finer bristles that will catch and remove any fleas (dead or alive) caught in your puppy's hair.
Check your puppy for any skin rashes on her underbelly or legs. This can be caused by unsanitary living conditions or an allergic reaction to a chemical or fabric she was preciously exposed to.
Apply 2 to 3 tbsp. Johnson's Baby Powder to any rash areas on your puppy's skin. Apply the powder 2 to 3 times a day to help clear the rash up quickly. The baby powder will help soak up any wetness on the skin and alleviate any itching and irritation your pet may be feeling in that area.
