How to Groom a Peekapoo
Comb through your Peekapoo’s coat frequently. Short grooming sessions will make keeping your dog’s coat manageable a much simpler task.
Trim your dog’s nails weekly. Frequent nail trimming will keep your Peekapoo’s nails short will keep your dog from feeling any pain and discomfort.
Bathe your dog with a high-quality dog shampoo, and condition her coat after shampooing. A clean coat is much easier to clip than a dirty one.
Shave your Peekapoo’s coat. Most Peekapoos are shaved in a short puppy clip, but the style of clip is your choice. Remember, shorter clips require less frequent grooming.
Use the scissors to trim off any remaining long hairs that shaving might have left on your Peekapoo’s coat. Scissors are much easier to use in small areas such as your dog’s ears and around her feet.
Brush your dog again to ensure that you have removed any remaining tangles or mats. Check over your dog from head to toe to make sure that you have properly groomed your Peekapoo.
