  1. How to Groom a Poodle Opso Mix

    • 1

Brush your Poodle Opso mix daily. Frequent brushing will keep the fur mats to a minimum and will make clipping the dog much simpler.

    • 2

Bathe your dog before clipping the hair. Use a good quality dog shampoo and be sure to rinse the soap completely from the coat and apply a good conditioner. This conditioner will help keep static and tangles from developing in your Poodle Opso’s thick hair.

    • 3

Trim your Poodle Opso’s coat with the clippers. Most Poodle Opso mix dogs are trimmed short in a basic puppy clip. You can clip your dog however you choose, but the shorter you trim the coat, the less often you will have to do it.

    • 4

Comb your dog over again to make sure you’ve removed any mats from the coat. Mats are very painful and can cause injury if not removed.

    • 5

Clip you dog’s nails. Trun off only a small amount at a time to avoid cutting them too short and causing any pain.

    • 6

Trim any remaining long hairs with the scissors. Check your dog over carefully to make sure you’ve properly groomed your Poodle Opso mix.
