How to Rotate a Dog Grooming Table

Grooming tables are a vital piece of equipment for the majority of dog owners. Many breeds require frequent and consistent grooming, and it is much simpler to groom a dog that is elevated on a table than it is to attempt grooming a dog from the floor. A grooming table that rotates can be a lifesaver for a groomer who works in a small area or has a hard time maneuvering around the room.

Instructions

    • 1

Set up the table in a study, flat area. You do not want your grooming table to rock or fall while you are trying to adjust it.

    • 2

Look under the table for a clamp or arm that will allow your table to rotate. Your table should have a slide-out clamp or a set of removable screws that enable you to turn the top.

    • 3

Loosen the screws or remove the clamp and set it aside. Do not misplace it, as you will need to reattach it after you’ve moved the table.

    • 4

Rotate the tabletop to the desired position. Most tables have the option to rotate 360 degrees, making them easily accessible from all positions.

    • 5

Reinsert the clamp or re-tighten your screws. Be sure that you secure them firmly to avoid the table moving while you are using it.

    • 6

Place your dog on the table to ensure you have placed it in the right position. Adjust as necessary.
