How to Make Dog Perfume Spray

If you don’t have time to bathe your dog every other day but also can’t stand his animal odor, spraying your pet with dog perfume may be a great substitute. But store-bought pet fragrances may be harmful and irritating to your dog’s skin. A much healthier alternative is creating your own natural pet spray for your best friend. It’s simple, quick and so much better for him.

Get all the ingredients together. You can find what you need at a local health store or natural food market. Check out the different essential oils they offer and choose the scents you like best but that also won’t be too strong for your dog. You’ll need to choose 2 or 3 scents.

Decide on the best ratio of essential oils. The only way to do this is through experimentation. Write down the number of drops you use so when you discover a pleasing scent, you’ll know how to recreate it.

Mix the ingredients. Use about fifteen drops of essential oil with the above recipe. Add the drops of your chosen essential oils in the ratio you selected to a glass bowl. In a separate glass bowl, mix together the olive oil, vegetable glycerine, and purified water. Slowly add the essential oils and stir thoroughly.
