How To Get Rid Of Fleas On Your Dog Naturally
Measure out three tablespoons of the lemon juice concentrate, and then place this into the spray bottle. Now you will want to add one teaspoon of cayenne pepper seeds to the spray bottle, along with one teaspoon of oil. Measure out and add one cup of water to your spray bottle and place the lid back onto the top.
Shake the bottle vigorously for one minute and then sit in the sun for a few hours. You should leave the bottle in the sunlight long enough for the seeds to begin to soften and dissolve around the edges. Open your bottle periodically to check the status of your seeds.
Bathe your dog as you normally would, using your normal products. Towel dry your dog but do not completely dry the fur by using a blow drier or air drier of any kind. Spray this mixture onto your dog while he or she is still damp. This gives the treatment time to soak into the skin as well as adhere to the hair.
Brush your dog out completely until dry. Once this is complete, use the fine tooth comb to pull the hair against the direction of growth to remove any dead fleas that may be hiding in the undercoat. Repeat this until you no longer see fleas on the comb.
Spray the dog again with your mixture and allow him to dry. This will provide a barrier of protection to your dog from fleas for 24 hours. You can repeat this as many times as you want, as long as your dog shows no allergic reactions. Your dog's coat will have an oily appearance and a strong odor of spice. This will dissipate when you bathe your dog again.
