Instructions

    • 1

Lay the tulle on a work table with the fold facing you. Cut several strips approximately 4 to 6 inches in width, depending on the size of the dog.

    • 2

Wrap some elastic around the dog's mid-section and cut where the edges meet, plus about an inch. Remove the elastic from the dog. Overlap the ends of the elastic and staple them together on both ends. The staples should go across the elastic, not lengthwise.

    • 3

Unfold a strip of tulle and tie it onto the elastic, with the center of the tulle netting on the elastic. Work the tulle strip around to the front of the elastic. Repeat with all the tulle strips until the width of the tutu is appropriate for your dog.

    • 4

Continue attaching strips of tulle netting until the tutu is as full as you want it.
