Things You'll Need
- 1 cup distilled water
- 1 cup 3 percent hydrogen peroxide
- Spray bottle
Instructions
Pour the water and hydrogen peroxide through a funnel into a clean, empty spray bottle. Screw the top onto the spray bottle and shake it up to ensure that the two ingredients mix.
Spray the solution onto a cotton ball. Gently wipe the stained facial fur. Be sure not to get any of the solution in your Bichon Frise's eyes. Do this once or twice a day as needed.
Keep the fur near your dog's eyes neatly trimmed to lessen the chance of tear staining. You may also avoid feeding food with added color to your Bichon Frise, as this has been linked to an increased intensity of tear staining.
