Things You'll Need
- Olive oil
- Garlic
- Funnel
- Cotton swabs
- paper towel
Instructions
Open a small bottle of olive oil and remove the pour insert, if there is one.
Slice two garlic cloves in half and add to the olive oil. Replace the lid. Let the garlic sit in the olive oil bottle out of direct sunlight for about a week. Shake the bottle periodically.
Strain the garlic from the olive oil with a mesh strainer or cheesecloth. Add the olive oil back to the bottle using a funnel or put it in a sealed container.
Dip a cotton swab in the garlic oil and place some inside your dog's ear. Massage the oil in with the swab or your fingers. Continue applying oil until any darkened discharge has dissolved. Wipe with a paper towel and reapply a small amount of olive oil. Repeat for the other ear.
