Adams Spot-On Flea and Tick Control for both dogs and cats is applied to the back of the neck to provide one month of protection against fleas, ticks and their eggs.

      Locate the Adams Spot-On Flea and Tick Control that is correct for your pet and its size. For instance, the product is available for dogs that weigh less than 15 lbs., those between 16 and 30 lbs., between 31 and 60 lbs. or over 60 lbs.

      Remove one tube from the Adams Spot-On Flea and Tick Control box.

      Locate the perforated applicator, which is found at the end of the individual tube.

      Holding the tube away from your body and face, gently snap the tip backward to open up the applicator.

      Part the fur of the animal at the area where the shoulder blades meet, below the back of the pet's head.

      Point the applicator tip against the skin and squeeze half of the tube's contents on this area.

      Squeeze the remaining half of the tube's content on the base of the animal's tail.

      Wrap the empty plastic tube in a piece of paper towel and throw it into the garbage.

      Reapply the Adams Spot-On Flea and Tick Control once every 30 days.
