Instructions
Take your pet to see your veterinarian to confirm that it has fleas and that it is safe for you to use DA. Find out the current weight of your dog.
Purchase DA from your local pet store. Read the packaging carefully to make sure you are buying your pet the appropriate kind.
Study the DA applicator and packaging to determine appropriate dosage for your dog. Dogs under twenty pounds will require only one drop of medicine; heavier dogs will require more.
Place the tip of the applicator beneath your dog's fur on his or her skin between the shoulder blades. Apply the correct dosage. Larger dogs will require additional drops of medicine in a line down their back, beginning at the shoulder blades and ending above the tail.
Keep your dog separated from other pets for at least one hour to allow medication to dry completely. Check your dog daily for fleas and other pests; reapply medication after one month if necessary.
How to Kill Fleas With DA
Fleas have a life cycle of about six weeks and live in carpets and furniture and on the warm body of your dog, hidden comfortably beneath its fur. Their bites are itchy and irritating and can transmit worms and other diseases to you and your pet. DA Double Advantage is a medication that can be applied to your dog or cat topically and will safely kill fleas, ticks and other pests.
