Things You'll Need
- Pot
- Epsom salt
- Wooden spoon
- Clean rag
Instructions
Fill a large pot with 1 gallon of water.
Pour 1/2 cup of Epsom salts into the pot.
Put the pot on the stove and heat until the water is warm to the touch. Stir with a wooden spoon until the salt has completely dissolved.
Check the water with your finger to make sure that it is not too hot.
Place the pot on the floor.
Dip the dog's affected paw into the water and hold it in there for 5 to 10 minutes.
Pat the dog's paw dry with a clean rag.
Repeat this procedure two to four times a day.
