How to Calculate an Adult Dog's Weight

A dog's weight is important to its overall health as a human's is to his; an overweight dog also is at risk for heart disease, diabetes and other conditions. To find out if your adult dog is overweight, you first need to determine how much it weighs. It can be difficult to keep your dog on a scale made for humans, but one way to determine its weight is by using a basic technique.
