Instructions

Cut up a few lemons into quarters then boil them in water. Let the water cool overnight with the lemons immersed. Fill a spray bottle with the lemon water and spray the puppy all over with the mixture. Rub the mixture into its fur and in popular flea areas such as armpits, behind the ears, the base of the tail, and snout. Leave the mixture on until the puppy's next bath; it will not harm the puppy. Do not let the lemon water get into the puppy's eyes as it may burn.

Mix a few drops of tea oil or lavender essential oil with water and bathe your puppy with it. Allow the mixture to sit for a few minutes to kill the fleas. Rinse the puppy well and avoid getting the mixture in its eyes.

Combine a few drops of pure almond oil, lavender, and cedar wood essential oils into a spray bottle. Shake the mixture then spray it on the puppy. Use your hands to rub the mixture into its fur. The mixture is safe for the puppy and can be left on as long as you would like. For extra protection, spray the mixture onto a bandanna or collar as well.
