Things You'll Need
- Ear powder
- Hemostats
- Cotton balls
Instructions
Position your toy poodle so you have access to one ear. You may need someone to hold your poodle in the right position, depending on how obedient your poodle is.
Sprinkle a small amount of ear powder onto the ear canal.
Trim any hair around the ear so that it is not long enough to go into the ear.
Hold the hair inside the ear gently, without pulling, and use the hemostats to cut this hair off. The powder should make this hair easier to hold on too.
Repeat until the inner ear is free of hairs.
Use cotton buds to wipe around the outside of the ear, and remove any ear wax or dirt.
Repeat on the opposite side.
