Search "symptoms" of "veterinary" "emergencies" to find out what to do until you can get your pet to the vet if you suspect it is suffering from a life-threatening condition, the veterinary clinic is closed for the day, and there's no after-hours emergency line.
Find out the prevalence of rabies in your area by typing "rabies," "statistics," and your state, municipality or county into a search line.
