How to Use Elimite

Elimite cream is a scabicide that kills the scabies mite. Scabies is a skin disorder caused by a small mite that burrows under the skin and leads to severe itching and a blistering rash that develops about a month after the initial infestation. It is spread by direct and prolonged skin contact with another person who has scabies. When used correctly, Elimite cream effectively destroys the mite and its eggs. Reapplication may be necessary if the scabies mite doesn't die after the first treatment.
