Dog Precautions

Only use Advantage Flea & Tick on dogs who are seven weeks or older. If your dog is on other medications, nursing, pregnant, aged or debilitated, contact your veterinarian before use. Other medications or pesticides may interfere with Advantage and cause adverse reactions in your pet. It is possible to overdose on this medicine. If you suspect you have given your pet an overdose of this medicine, contact a veterinarian. The version of Advantage manufactured for cats is not for use on dogs. Do not mix this medication in your dog's food or water supply. Do not allow your pet to ingest this medication.
Cat Precautions

Only use Advantage on cats who are eight weeks or older. If your cat is on other medications, nursing, pregnant, aged, debilitated or using other pesticides, contact your veterinarian before using Advantage. The Advantage version specified for use on dogs is not for use on cats. Do not use this product in your cat's food or water. It is for external use only. If you suspect you have given your cat an overdose of this medication, contact a veterinarian immediately.
Other Safety Precautions

Do not swallow or ingest Advantage. Contact a poison control center immediately if you ingest the medicine. Keep Advantage away from your and your pet's eyes. If contact occurs, immediately flush with water. Avoid getting Advantage on your skin or clothes, and wash skin with warm, soapy water if contact occurs. Keep this medication out of reach of children.
