How to Relieve Dog Diarrhea

Diarrhea is a common yet treatable problem in dogs. Some of the causes of dog diarrhea include stress, dietary changes, parasites, bacteria, tumors and inflammatory reactions. Relieving your dog's diarrhea can help him get back to normal and feeling better.

      Withhold food from dog for at least 24 hours.

      Encourage your dog to drink plenty of water. Your dog must stay hydrated. If he refuses to drink water for more than 12 hours, you may need professional care.
